These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PDFbae.com (the "Service"), operated by PDFbae ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time, as described in Section 12. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

PDFbae provides free, browser-based tools for combining, converting, and otherwise processing PDF and image files. Features and available tools may change, be added, or be removed at any time without notice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Acceptable Use

When using the Service, you agree that you will not:

  • Upload or process any file that you do not have the legal right to upload, copy, or modify.
  • Upload or process content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, obscene, or that violates the rights of any third party.
  • Upload any file containing malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service, its servers, or related infrastructure.
  • Use automated means (bots, scripts, scrapers) to access the Service in a manner that places excessive load on it or circumvents any usage limits.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law.

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of this section and to suspend or restrict access to the Service for any user or file that we believe, in our reasonable discretion, violates these Terms.

5. Your Content and License to Us

You retain all ownership rights to the files you upload to the Service ("Your Content"). By uploading Your Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to access, store, and process Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you — that is, performing the action you requested (such as combining or converting your files) and making the resulting output available for you to download.

This license ends when Your Content is deleted from our systems, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of Your Content and do not use it for any purpose other than providing the Service, except as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and underlying software, is owned by PDFbae or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without our prior written consent.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers, including cloud storage, content delivery, analytics, and advertising providers. Your use of the Service is also subject to the applicable terms and policies of those providers, to the extent they apply. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure, or that any file processing will be free of errors or data loss. You are responsible for maintaining your own backup copies of any files you upload to the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PDFbae and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PDFbae and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion, including to protect the security or integrity of the Service.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles, unless otherwise required by mandatory law applicable to you in your country of residence.
